Here are a few ideas for walks or discoveries not to be missed during your visit to Loctudy in South Finistère:

Bike rides

For a bike ride to Lesconil, head towards the port and then take the dune path that will take you to the port of Guilvinec. This is a marked trail of 5 - 6 km that runs behind the dunes of the Kersaux beaches to the Lehan beach at Lechiagat. You will discover the rocks of the Goudoul with their particular shapes until the "soaked menhir" of Lehan in the middle of a remarkable wetland. You can then continue this bike ride by taking the old Birinik train track to Saint Guénolé. This stroll along the paths of the Pays Bigouden will allow you to discover the seaside landscapes, the local maritime heritage and preserved natural areas.

Don't forget to reserve your bikes at the Hortensias campsite !

Sea trips

For a ride on the sea, there are several possibilities depending on the weather and your wishes:

A short crossing of the river Pont l'Abbé with the "Passeur" between Loctudy and Ile Tudy to discover this pretty and lively little port with many bars and restaurants at the tip of the peninsula. A crossing of 5 minutes every quarter of an hour and you can embark with your bikes to continue the ride to Sainte Marine by a pretty path marked out behind the dunes.

A walk at sea from Guilvinec to the rocky plateau of Les Etocs to observe the grey seals or to fish at sea with Didier on his boat the Soizen.

A day trip to the Glénan archipelago with the Odet motorboats to discover its paradisiacal islands with turquoise waters and white sands. You will disembark on the island of Saint Nicolas and go around it after having a drink in one of the two bar-restaurants on the island. You can also take the commented discovery tour of the boat to learn about the history of the archipelago. Not to be missed!

Walking tours

For walking tours, there are many circuits that allow you to discover the remarkable sites of the Pays Bigouden :
